His duty was to guard the Hessian prisoners of war in Frederick City.     Link to Google MapsWill - In the name of God Amen, I Thomas Winsor of Montgomery County and State of Maryland being weak of body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows. Item first I will and bequeath that all my just and honest debst be paid. Second I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife Catharine Winsor all my estate real and personal property whatsoever or in any wise belonging unto me during her natural life or widowhood and as I have given unto my daughter Rebeccah Lewis ten pounds, unto my son Zadock Winsor ten pounds, my son Robert Bedden Winsor ten pounds, my daughter Mary Lewis ten pounds, and unto my daughter Ann Brown fifty six pounds seventeen shilling and six pence and as it is my Will and request that all my children should share and share alike, I therefore Will and request that my beloved wife Catharene Winsor should give unto my children out of my person property she can best spare or in any other wise do unto my sons Arnold Thomas Winsor, Alexander Winsor, Henry Winsor, ten pounds each and unto my daughters Catharine Winsor, Amia Winsor and Sarah Winsor ten pounds each, and after the death or widowhood of my beloved wife Catharine Winsor, It is my Will and bequeath that my Executor herein after named shall sell and dispose of all my estate real with the then remaining personal property either at publick or private sale diso??tional with him and to make or cause to be done a good and sufficient deed to the purchaser or purchasers on payment of purchase money and any deeds or bonds of Conveyance so done by him shall be as binding to the purchaser as if my self had don it which said property when sold and payments received by my Executor and after a deduction of necessary expences are allowed him the balance shall be equally devided between all my children to wit, Rebeccah Lewis, Mary Lewis, Arnold Thomas Winsor, Alexander Winsor, Catherine Winsor, Henry Winsor, Amea Winsor, Sarah Winsor, Ann Brown, Zadock Winsor and Robert B Winsor, share and share alike, except Ane Brown out of whose share to be deducted forty seven pounds seventeen shillings and six pence, which has been given her already over and above the rest of my children already mentioned. Lastly I do will and bequeath that my son Arnold Thomas Winsor, shall be my sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
